I’m Karl Turner, a content specialist based in Manchester.
Before setting up Useful Words, I spent 20 years working for the UK Government, including in 10 Downing Street and the Central Office of Information.
I have worked on digital teams and projects in central government, local government and higher education. I’ve led large teams and been the solo specialist. Worked on waterfall programmes and Agile projects. Created content for websites and intranets, email sequences, marketing campaigns, ads and printed publications.
